About Chalk Paint™ brand decoratve paints

 

Annie Sloan developed her now famous Chalk Paint™ to answer the need she had for a paint which would have many uses from acting like limewash to looking like old painted furniture and that had a good range of color that could be changed by the user.  This paint is very easy to work with and allows people to be creative as one does not get involved with the technicalities of preparation and it also allows you to change your mind without hassle.

 

Applications:

  • BEST paint on the market for painting furniture
  • Paint can be used on any surface - Literally!
  • Use on walls - for a soft matte effect or wax it for a polished plaster effect
  • Can be used to paint floors
  • Paint can be applied to interior or exterior surfaces and furnishings

Techniques:

  • Use one color or layer colors
  • Distress and apply waxes to create an old world patina
  • You can use the paint by diluting it with water to make a wash to show the wood grain
  • You can use it as an impasto (thickly), just leave the lid off to thicken

Ease of Use:

  • No need to prime, sand or strip the surface before painting
  • Very little black pigment is used so the colors can be mixed in any combination
  • The paint is flexible so you can be creative and change your mind (yes, even after you wax)
  • This paint has been made since 1990 so its tried and tested and withstood the test of time!

  • Paint has extremely low VOC's and has little to no odor

How your home smells is very improtant so we have the pleasure of adding beautiful quality perfumed deffusers in silver topped bottles, boxed and ribboned with 6 reeds.

 

Each one has been carefully blended with the very best ingredients to produce a wonderful scent to fill your space.  Turn the reeds daily or when you need a fresh burst.  Each perfume ribbon trimmed with its own color, supplied ready to use.
